Mike Franz
Mike is a result-oriented executive with experience in finance, operation management, information technology, risk management and human resources within many diverse organizations and industries. He has a proven ability to streamline business operations, integrate acquisitions and restructure organizations that drive growth and increase efficiency and bottom-line profit. Most recently Mike retired from Novaspect, Holdings, Inc. where he was the CFO/COO and prior owner. Mike has been active in the ESOP community and currently serves on 5 ESOP boards helping management transition businesses and owners to the hands of employee owners.
Steve Woodworth
Steve has an extensive history of leadership and oversight with public and private companies, in a variety of industries, and non-profit and professional associations. His association with Blois dates to 1997 when he joined its Advisory Board as its first member. His investment banking background, strategic orientation and history with private and family businesses are unique assets. In early 2006 he became Blois' COO/CFO, a position he held for over eight years, and joined the Board of Directors. His various roles at Blois, during both boom and bust times, provide the company and its management with valuable continuity and perspectives.
Jim Blois
Jim grew up with Blois Construction, Inc.®, literally learning the business from the ground up and around the dinner table. After graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Civil Engineering, he gained outside experience at other underground utility companies in California before returning to his natural home. Jim works with the Blois Team to develop company wide expectations, systems and procedures and to utilize technology. Most importantly, he spends the majority of his time in strategic planning, finding and developing great people and maintaining a culture of collaboration and learning.
