
Doug started working as a teenager for Blois & Cardoza (his father’s pipeline company) during the summers. After receiving his degree in mechanical engineering from UCSB in 1975, he got back into pipeline construction in 1977, and started his own business in 1980. He managed Double D Underground as a sole proprietor until 1986 in Temecula, Calif. After a two-year stint with Blois Construction, Inc.®, Inc. as general field superintendent, he went back to Temecula and restarted his own business. Doug has managed Double D Pipeline, Inc. successfully since 1988, seeing it grow to an annual volume of $5.5 million, with 30 employees. He has also been on the Board of Directors of Temecula Community Pantry for ten years, is a member of Kiwanis, has coached youth sports for numerous years, and is an active member of his church. He and his wife Dian take special pride in their 4 sons.
