Alec Pringle

Alec has a global background in engineering and construction. He was a 25-year naval officer (Civil Engineer Corps) involved with facilities maintenance, contract administration, and expeditionary construction (Seabees) in support of naval forces worldwide. He retired as Public Works Officer and Officer-in-Charge of Construction at Naval Education and Training Center inNewport, Rhode Island. During a subsequent extended career with the County of Ventura Public Works Agency, he served as the Director of Engineering Services, which included responsibility for development services, where he was involved with a number of major regional projects. He recently retired and is now serving as a Grand Juror for the County of Ventura and as a Commissioner on the California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Commission. Alec completed a Master of Engineering at the University of Florida and is a registered Engineer in the state of California. He and his wife reside in Ventura and enjoy two children and three grandchildren.
